I grind my teeth quite a bit so I bought these to prevent this. I'm not sure if they are small enough for a child's mouth. I'm quite short and I have a hard time finding a mouthguard that fits me. I use it for my bottom teeth and it fits pretty well. I had the outsides trimmed so it wouldn't put any pressure on my gums. Otherwise I recommend.
