Installation is easy. Depending on the floor covering, you may need to unscrew/remove the footplate on the lower front before pulling out the dishwasher to prevent it from snagging/scratching the floor. I didn't have to do that with my setup. Then remove the screws (usually 2) that screw into the worktop through the metal tabs (you usually have to open the door to get to them). Then simply pull the dishwasher out far enough to open the side directly behind the door. There is no cover that can be removed. Remove the broken/torn ones and notice how they attach to the underside of the small pulley (do them one at a time so you have a connection). Fasten at the bottom first, guide the string, and then hook the spring at the top. Repeat on the other side. Check your door, it should be like new! Slide the device back, insert the screws from the top, the protective plate from the bottom if you removed it. Did. I didn't have to turn off the electricity or water. Just had to pull out the dishwasher about 4 inches. YouTube link if needed.
