The red trim is slightly pink and can be easily removed. Not what I wanted or thought I would get in terms of color. It's very comfortable and took a few walks to get used to the "charged" foam in the heel area. You have to step a little higher or your foot will get stuck in the middle of the step and you can easily trip. Side support NO. Like hiking boots, thumbs up. As running shoes, be careful if the ground is even slightly uneven. Your foot moves left/right due to lack of lateral support and you may twist your ankle. These shoes should be strictly advertised as wet and dry running shoes in my opinion.
