I've been using it for a few weeks now. So far this is working fine. Mine works both with and without a permanent connection. Without a connection, it stays on for at least 2 hours or more. I only use it at night when I go to bed. So I don't know how long it will last on a full charge. Air takes a little longer to cool, and I don't think it makes much of a difference with ice water or regular water. It's louder than I expected, even at the lowest speed, and the instruction manual is poor. It took me a while to figure out that the green light (default) is a spray. To be honest I don't know if it's actually spraying because I can't tell. Oh, I noticed that after the first few uses, the rest of the water got dirty. It also doesn't look like the water has been used much. I had to change the water several times. Now the residual water is clean and used up much faster. Maybe it didn't work so well for someone because of a dirty water filter? Just my guess.
