Someone at Das Keyboard must really hate this model (Model S Professional for Mac). It feels solid and the Cherry MX Blue mechanism is what I like. BUT the keycaps are fun: reflective black finish, quirky lowercase letters in the odd top-left quarter of the cap. The command key has a word but no icon. Invisible blue ink marks special features on the function keys (too small and low-contrast), and special features require a two-handed press (the 'fn' key plus a dedicated function key. The Key offers a third-party 'safe' program for remapping keys , but it writes your keystrokes and I think it's related to a place out of town where I tried it - it works fine, but I'd never sleep and wonder if my computer was any less secure than it was before Installation uninstalls it. Oh, and to my knowledge, DasKeyboard doesn't offer a backlit Mac keyboard in the same price range as the PC version. I'm not the first user to make these comments, but I wanted to add my voice. Oh, by the way, for $54 you can buy a new key set from Das Keyboard, with better characters but even less contrast, I got the impression that this forgotten keyboard tur - maybe developed shortly after 2000 and never considered again. Can't recommend.
