Really impressed with the fit and quality

I have been riding for about two years now and these are my first pair of breeches. First of all I would like to say that they fit just like some of the designer jeans I wear. Diesel jeans in particular. If you are wearing or have worn Diesel skinny straight jeans, you should order exactly the same size. I'm 5'11" and 175 pounds and I usually wear 30x30 of the stretchiest jeans. I went ahead and ordered 30x32 and they fit great although they were a little long which I only rolled up once on the bottom. They're snug in almost every part and you kind of squeeze in and they should fit like a glove. a bit of space, but not in cut-out jeans. If you like your jeans a little baggy, I would recommend the Speed & Strength Dogs of War Men's Black Trousers. plenty for people who wear tight straight or skinny jeans. With mid-height riding shoes, the bottom of the leg cuff doesn't fit over my shoes. I hope that explains the fit a little better. Pros: Runs true to size compared to a similar designer stretch denim. Fits great and stretch denim fits like a glove. Flexible material above the knee helps with fit, flexibility and breathability. Kevlar is sewn in from just above the knee to the waist for added protection. Cons: Slightly higher than similar brands. If Maxler could bring the price down to $150, that would be a flop. - Half a star off. Kevlar is lightweight and doesn't reach to the knee which means if you wear them without bulky knee pads you won't get knee protection compared to regular jeans. . I find this to be a pretty big disadvantage because there are times when wearing knee pads isn't an option, so at least a few inches more Kevlar protection over the knee would make them a lot more adaptable to different riders and conditions. - Half a star off. Other than that, it's a good buy and well worth the investment. I look forward to trying other Maxler riding jeans. I've only owned them for a week so I'll be back and updating in a few months. Feel free to ask any questions. I'm usually pretty responsive.
