I received my new 2005 Honda Civic LX coupe last week and it had a few issues that I was able to fix. I bought a car to be able to work myself and to save money. I used the BlueDriver OBDII Bluetooth scan tool on the car because the check engine light was on. The codes said my O2 sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. In the BlueDriver app he linked me to this O2 sensor so I bought it and rented an O2 sensor key insert from Advance Auto Parts. Installation was super easy. I had a hard time removing the old sensor from the car because it had about 108,000 miles on it. However, after removing it, I installed a new one and it ran like clockwork. If the check engine light is still on after installing the sensor, don't worry, ride it for a while. Eventually it turns off. It took me at most 30 minutes for the lights to go out. All in all a great purchase for my Honda! PS Anti-Seize (red tube with substance inside), make sure you put some on the O2 sensor threads (the size of a grain of rice) and make sure it DOES NOT come in contact with other parts of the sensor . it will ruin the whole module in the future.
