This stool is a winner! I read the reviews before buying and found either hot or cold. No hatch is warm! All complaints seemed to relate to the congregation. Well I'm a 75 year old widow and it wasn't hard at all. Everything was vacuum sealed so it was easy to count and match the instructions. There were even arrows showing which way the leg rests should be rotated and the thread ends were color coded to make sure you got it right. A review that mentioned tapping? The guy didn't pay attention to the color coding. He had the ends of the supports turned upside down, meaning they didn't tighten. SO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! I opened the box and completed the assembly in less than 30 minutes. I was on my way to a meeting when the stool was delivered and couldn't resist seeing the finished project. Really nice color and nice smooth satin finish. Heavy, solid to the touch, elegant yet warm, this design suits most homes. And most importantly, it's very, very comfortable.
