Review on Kitchen Safe Locking Container Height by Sonya Murphy

We read another review that suggested this automatic cat food box and we loved it! The cat woke us up at 4 or 5am to remind us to feed her at 7am. The earplugs didn't work. We suffered for hours and then went upstairs to feed them. We give her the blue feeding egg shown in the picture so that she is both entertained and not able to breathe food like a vacuum. We needed a better solution, and none of the cat feeders we tested could hold an egg. Feedback from the cat's owner, we decided to try it. The bottle arrived on time and well packaged. We spent several weeks looking for the best setup as the jar had to be tilted and lifted just far enough for the egg to roll out. In the end we settled on what you see in the picture below! The black spot is a small bumper that I taped to the lid to protect it if it falls off. Now the cat sleeps peacefully with us until about 6 a.m., after which she quietly excuses herself and supposedly sits by the glass expectantly. She still has a bad habit of crying (oddly, especially right after eating) but we use other methods like clicker training and positive reinforcement to fix that. Plus she's a great kitty and this glass made it so much easier to enjoy her company. My only issue is that it would be nice to have a clock instead of a timer. We always roll her egg at the same time, so depending on when we put it in the night before, we have to carefully count the hours and minutes. Again, this isn't the true purpose of this glass, so I have no reason not to award that five stars.
