Review on Lab-Resistant, Breathable Boys' Tops, Tees & Shirts by Good Day by Matt Welch

Easily washable polo shirt

Good size polo shirt with rather short sleeves. Of the 4 polo brands we stock for my sons school uniform, this one has the shortest sleeves of any polo in the same size. It looks good and my son doesn't care but I thought it was worth mentioning. The material feels like a very dense, threadlike, smooth cotton. The material is also stretched and compressed to its original size. I suspect the slight hint of spandex in the cotton explains this. The shirt is probably the highest quality polo we have of any school uniform we have. It is also 4-7 times more expensive than our standard polo uniform. The color is very vibrant and the color will not fade even after 2 machine washes and tumble dry. There is no doubt that the quality of this baby polo shirt is good. The only question is the price. At $40 for a shirt, I wouldn't buy them for a school uniform. I can buy standard school polo shirts for $5-7 each. This makes these polos 5-8 times more expensive. My kids are rough with their clothes and I would rather change them for $5 than $40. This polo holds up scissors no better than a standard polo. Good polo but too expensive for a growing child.
