Doesn't last a week, good for outdoor decor

Hate to give such a bad review but this mat looks terrible after just a week of light use. By light use I mean only two people use it twice a day. On the photos you can clearly see the entered and the less frequently entered area (upper right corner). The carpet is under a small awning. It has only rained once since we had it and there was a lot of water under the carpet. If the mat was cheaper I wouldn't worry, but at $25 I think it will last a lot longer than it actually does. It just looks ugly now.
