I frame A LOT of things. I've been a high school art teacher for 30 years. I show my work, I also help my students play with it so I know how to use framing materials. I'm not a fan of this wire. This is not a traditional hanging wire. This is a strange metal cable (relatively thin section) with swaged tubes. Usually you wrap the wire around you. Not here. This cable is difficult to cut, unwinds easily and the grayscale is very clear. This leads to difficulties when threading crimps. I had a medium weight mirror. I used 2 wires and 8 clips because I didn't want to risk them coming loose. Now I'm stuck with too many products I don't like. I will use it eventually, but I will be reluctant to do so. Next time I will go personally to decide what I want.
