Weak magnet, adequate signal gain

This will not be your car antenna, but an extension for hobbyist use (I use mine with the Adafruit Raspberry Pi GPS module), it does the job. The magnet at the base is weak and unlikely to stay on a moving vehicle, which I partly meant. Still, for the price, it's a good choice for non-mobile (or slower vehicle) use.
