I bought these shoes for myself. I didn't like them at first when they arrived, but quickly changed my mind after wearing them for a while. Remember I am a small adult and wear children's shoes. They are great for walking your dog on wet grass and on cold autumn days. Very waterproof and quite warm. My dog enjoyed chewing on them whenever he had the opportunity and they held up well to abuse. So they're pretty tough. Easy to put on. I would send my child to school in it. Cons: Poor arch support, I wouldn't want to use them for hiking. Also, they look pretty funny. They look a bit like water shoes and look oddly narrow when they actually appear to be quite wide.
