I read on the internet that a towel that dries hair and wraps it in a turban is bad for your health, so I decided to look for an alternative. That's when I came across these towels. For the price of two I had almost nothing to lose. The towels feel super soft, love rubbing them against my skin lol I've been using these towels for a few months now. I wash my hair twice a week so it has been put to good use. I have long hair, it reaches my hips and is quite thick (I have a lot of hair). Here are my thoughts: 1. They are still soft and fluffy after a few months of decent use and washing. After using them, I just toss them in the car with my other towels and dry them the same way. Sometimes, when I know I won't be able to wash that week, I just hang the item to air dry and use it again next time. I had no problems with their bad smell like some towels.2. The absorbency is quite good. It doesn't make my hair super dry, but my hair isn't wet when I take it out, so that's enough for me. I'd say it dries my hair by about 60%, maybe a little more. I put it on and then take it off to let my hair air dry and then go in with my Revlon one-step brush to finish it. I don't wear it for very long either, generally my hair takes about an hour to dry, not before drying. Curse. a day to allow my hair to air dry.3. The length is ok. I have to fold my hair in half to fit in the towel. When I read that it works on long hair I was hoping, but oh well. It's not really a problem, it just requires a little experimentation. Figuring out how to wrap a towel got me very frustrated. It took me a while to figure out how to put it on my head properly. I found out one day, although I could do it every time after that, 5. The best part is I don't feel like I have 10 pounds on my head compared to a regular towel turban. It's really light on my head, I hardly feel it which is a godsend. I didn't use the included headband but this was a nice addition for those who do. For the price you have nothing to lose.
