I bought this stand because the factory stands for my new LG 55" TV were on the very edges of the TV cabinet and didn't match my existing furniture. I was also very surprised at how thin the factory coasters were. This stand is very stable. You can tell just how durable it is when you unpack it. It took about 15 minutes to assemble the base piece and another 15 minutes to find the right position to attach the rails to the TV. There are many different gaskets and screws that fit almost every TV. The only possible problem is that I could use an M6x24 bolt and the kit only came with M6x35 and M6x12 bolts. It would be nice to have something in between. Against all odds I was able to get it working, but if not, a 10 minute trip to the hardware store fixed it. The thing looks great too. Very elegant yet simple so it should look good on almost any piece of furniture. It was the perfect choice.
