The ability to query all our different databases without having duplicate code or multiple systems - its just one toolset that does it ALL! And when you're dealing w/ millions & billions (and those numbers are only growing), there's no way around some serious horsepower behind your queries if they've got any complexity beyond straight SQL joins / filtering etc.. But we don't have much choice so I'm not complaining too loudly about this product being what makes up 90%+of my daily job :) We use Imply primarily because 1)We need access from anywhere via mobile apps2.)It integrates well into third party tools like Slack3). Its easy enough even an intern can do basic stuff4.). Easy querying5.), plus tons more features6.). If someone were building out new applications today using impy + other products such as Kafka7., Redshift.
