Review on KC HiLiTES 151 Apollo Driving by Jerry Estrada

Revainrating 4 out of 5

But they are good. . .

I installed 100w Apollo Pro 152 6" fog lights on my 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ. It would have taken 15 minutes - had to drill holes for the bumper mounts - but the Deutsch connectors did not match the original factory fog light connectors. So I had to cut and splice the wiring. I soldered and wrapped the joints with shrink tubing. and it still looks... (Maybe I should have used bigger shrink tubing over the individual wire tubes?) "I guess it doesn't matter - the connections are fine and the light works fine. It works. Another problem : one I can only tighten these headlights just enough to adjust the height, after tightening them as much as possible, I can still turn the headlights up or down by hand, so when I'm driving the jeep, I can go in up front and adjust them as needed until (2 months) normal driving kinda shook them out of the way (original fog lights were permanently fitted and never had to be adjusted in 16 years.) But there must be a better way, more like that Construction as plastic they tighten better I like these lights because they extend the side lighting well I'm often out in the country at night with deer and other animals, and d These fog lights make them easier to see. We often have fogs in the Pacific Northwest that have already set in and they really help. And in my opinion the lights in the front look good.
