Be very careful with this product.

Used to control the laser via USB. Cat. 5e cable laid, RJ45 plug installed, connections tested with a cable tester, and the connection tested. Nothing. Checked all connections and the remote felt very hot. The smell of hot plastic was everywhere. Replaced it with a long USB cable (which I'm trying to replace) and everything worked great. I returned it the next day.

Pros

USB to RJ45 extension adapter has a backup power port for high power devices such as USB hard drives, hub devices (please connect DC 5V 1A power adapter with 3.5mm x 1.35mm plug, DO NOT load the adapter with more than use 5V 1A).
