I have ordered this product twice. The first order was dark brown. The color was too red for my coloring. I assume it works well for those with brown or red hair. Now I'm wondering if I just turned reddish brown instead of dark brown. My second order was for light brown and the color is good. Neither the boxes nor the packaging indicate the color of the product. My guess is that my first order was probably auburn, not dark brown. We'll never know. It's so ridiculous that the color isn't listed on the box or tube.
