As an unintended consequence, they also do an excellent job of loosening stubborn radiator hoses and are MUCH stronger. than other samples of this type that I have used. I poked right through the end of the stubborn radiator hose with the longest hook in the kit and just ripped it out of the engine bay where there's a gap to see what a pain it was. The hook didn't warp and didn't even seem to care about abuse. The range of sizes and shapes in the set is also quite good. I can use them for things as small as vacuum lines and as big as you can imagine. I doubt I'll ever need my much smaller and much less durable picks again. Only possible with small O-rings.
