I would describe myself as very dedicated, willing to help grandma with all 6 of my wonderful, sometimes crazy grandchildren. It's very common for me to have one or two of these (sometimes even three if I'm feeling brave) for several days in a row, even for a whole week. They bring me great joy and I love them to pieces. Whatever the case, no matter how cute and innocent they seem, don't let their charm fool you. Anyone who has children and grandchildren knows that they are usually not the gentlest of people. They run at 100mph most of the time and don't stop to think about the consequences, respect and whatnot. Children tend to be selfish beings and find it difficult to understand the importance of respecting other people's property because if it doesn't really matter to them, they just don't take it seriously. I recently bought a new car and it is very important to me that it is clean and in great condition. If you've ever traveled with kids in the back seat, whether it's a long or short distance, you're probably very familiar with those not-so-comfortable seat kicks. That's one thing that annoys me. I wanted to find a product that could help protect my car from my crazy but always handsome grandkids. The Motorup America kick mat set was exactly as described and photographed on the product listing page. I really appreciated that this set came as a pair and not individually. The rug includes many pockets of different sizes for storage. This creates a very convenient place for kids to easily store their tablets, toys, snacks, etc. They were relatively easy to install and only took a few minutes. It really offers some protection for your front seat backs from those precious little wobbly feet! Dislikes The first thing I noticed was that the corners of the mats didn't want to stay in the right position. Instead, they folded down as if folding into checkmate. I also noticed that they only cover the center of the seat, leaving the outside of the front seats exposed. It's like an open invitation or challenge to a child. The quality of the material from which these rugs are made is certainly not top notch, but the epitome of "you get what you pay for". The bags didn't last long, then they lost their elasticity and came off completely. Now we can only keep small things in our bags because if we put something too big in it, it just falls out. Make sure your little ones don't have access to plastic clips that interlock as they aren't very strong and won't take a few hits from a kid (I know this from experience). Final Thoughts If I recall, the reason I bought these floor mats in the first place was to protect my seat backs from my grandchildren's unsteady feet. I can say that this product forms a protective layer between the seat and the child which means the mats are effective and serve their purpose in that sense. However, I can't give a rating based on that fact alone, or give a review when I've had so many other issues with carpets. I think this is a product worth purchasing for its cost, but I encourage you to be realistic in your mating expectations.
