I really don't know if there is any faster way than shaving. I would say about the same. The only benefit I like is that there is no burning or crazy itching after shaving. I have sensitive skin that doesn't like being shaved and doesn't like most topical creams and lotions. I've used Nair in the past and that worked, but it smelled way worse than this one and burned a bit. . I didn't notice any odor on this new one. I don't feel any burning with it at all and I love the pump function. I also like the little spatula. There's something fun about using it. I leave it on for less time than Nair and it seems to remove more hair than Nair (I leave it on for about 6 minutes and get a random hair or two that survive, but I use the razor quickly). Nair used to leave whole stains, but like I said, this one only leaves one or two. I use it for legs and women's areas. It doesn't hurt at all, and it's a hell of a lot easier than shaving down there. I recommend using a warm towel to wipe off more sensitive areas instead of a spatula, but as I said, I didn’t really notice that negatively. The finished product isn't as smooth as a shave, but then again, I still have bumps after shaving, so I still didn't want to be smooth. It's not a bad feeling, although it's perfectly acceptable. I wish I didn't have to wait so long between uses (you don't have to use it every day) as my hair is dark and grows back quickly even on the thicker side. So I end up using a combination of these and shaving depending on what works at the moment. It leaves a bit of a mess in the shower and looks pretty rough, like sour cream. So cleaning is more than shaving. It's not a difficult cleaning. And that's my 2 cents for this product. It works for what I need and my favorite part is that I don't itch like I do when I shave. It's not a miracle product, but it's useful and better than Nair in my opinion.
