Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ HUION KAMVAS Pro 13 GT-133 Graphics Drawing Monitor: Full Lamination, Battery-Free Stylus, 8192 Pen Pressure | 13.3 in Pen Tablet Display for Chromebook, Windows & Mac by Louis Alford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally a reasonable jitter!

I've had this tablet for about a week now and I would say it's great apart from the negatives. (I've since edited this review) Pros: - The screen is crisp and clear. - The colors are relatively accurate out of the box and hardly need to be calibrated. - It actually looks like you have more than enough space to work. - Super pressure sensitive. - I didn't notice it getting hot like other screen tablets I've used. Heats up only slightly after about 5 hours of use. - Works with dual screen box and Paint Tool Sai on Windows 10, unlike some Wacom tablets. Mixed: - You can feel the movement of the pen when you press it down. The more you use the pen, the less noticeable it is. Cons: - Calibration tool disabled. After calibrating the tablet, it will shift slightly to the left. The default calibration works fine for me, so it's not that big of an issue. However, sometimes this is noticeably disabled when drawing in different directions. About 1/4 inch. This tablet has an issue with shaky lines when drawing slowly. I will attach images with fast/medium/slow. Stabilizer is set to 14 in CLIP, 11 in Sai. - Has more problems with non-Photoshop programs. All in all, if this is your first tablet or you're just eyeing a backup, I'd consider this. This seems like the best bang for your buck option right now. Attached is the art I drew in CLIP and Sai. As you can see, the line judder is not as noticeable when painting on very large canvases. (Edit: I've been told it's quite noticeable in my most recent photos.) Although I notice it more in CLIP than in Sai. I hope this is just a driver issue and will be fixed over time. This is the only deal breaker that makes me return this tablet. I would consider waiting until they fix any driver issues they are having. I cannot recommend this tablet with full confidence until it is fixed. Edit: Apparently, Huion is sending out free pens in exchange for reviews. I'm not sure how I feel about this. Edit: After using this tablet for a while, the line problem when drawing and trying to create solid colors is quite annoying. Hewion admitted that the line problem existed and would not be fixed any time soon. Revain doesn't allow me to download the email, so it's transcribed here." "Dear Clover, Thank you for your reply. Sorry, but this issue can't be solved at this time. When drawing diagonal lines on a tablet. But we do our best to improve our technology to solve this problem in the future.Thank you for your contact and let us solve this problem. Please give us time to grow.Hope you understand and accept our sincere apologies. " because the return is quite troublesome. I don't recommend buying directly from Huion, probably never. Make sure to fill it out through Amazon if you decide to buy this tablet. You can get the firmware update from Huion via email. Unfortunately, there is still a problem with jerky lines, especially with CLIP. There is also no solution for a bad calibration. For now I have to recommend using XP -Pen. Edit 12/29/19: Finally the stuttering seems to have been reduced to something manageable. in the CLIP studio! There's still some jitter, but not as much, and now it's almost negligible. It only took them a year and a half to fix it. I still regret buying it at full price. Anyway, this is a warning not to buy a tablet until the bugs are fixed.
