Review on Hanes ComfortBlend Over Calf Socks with FreshIQ Technology by Russ Mashlan

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Low-cut, high-poly cotton socks for those who hate their feet.

I've worn Haines socks for over twenty years. I usually buy packs in the spring and fall, ask for old ones, and donate them to charity. In recent years, the quality of Haines socks has steadily declined. Haines reduced the cotton content and increased the polyester content, and the result was simply disappointing socks. How have they changed? They are less comfortable, almost slippery. When I buy the same size I've had for years, they seem snug and less pliable for everyday wear. I have 3 pairs of old Haines socks, at least two years old, that I've found since buying new ones. When they are clean, they are more comfortable to wear. Just avoid Haines socks. They are just awful.
