See photos of 72" piece of foam that should be 6" thick as I paid for it. I took a photo of each end and center, both with and without measurement. In just two sections of 6 areas, the foam reached a full 6 inches in thickness after waiting 40 hours to expand. Most of the 6 measurements barely reached 5 inches, and some - 4 inches. As you can see half on one side looks dried out, old and discolored from being stored for a long time. The instructions included in the box say not to leave the foam unrolled for more than a week when I get these After seeing the performance I can only wonder how long it sat in stock coiled up before they sent it to me. It's 6 feet long so good luck trying to get it back in the box for a refund. I needed a 6ft piece of foam so it's pretty much useless for the purpose I ordered. I could always chop it up and send it back piece by piece? Might solve some of the frustration I have by spending $70 on something I thought would be the perfect answer to my upholstery woes.
