I just installed this phone holder on my motorcycle. The hold on the baby bath is very secure. I don't ever want the phone to slip. The springs on the upper legs are quite strong and hold the phone securely in place. I have a Note 10+ with OtterBox Defender phone protection and it fits perfectly. I just leave the side supports all the way out, which leaves a small gap for the phone to slide in and out easily. The springs on the top struts are strong enough to prevent slipping, while the side struts just add extra security.
