The spools may not fit your typewriter

I used this ribbon on a Smith Corona Classic 12 and although the spools installed well in the typewriter it just didn't work properly until I unwound the ribbon and she wound up again . back to standard typewriter metal spools. It works much better now, although the print quality is still a bit faded than I would like.
