I bought this cable because I just bought a new phone which unfortunately doesn't have a headphone jack (USB-C only). As it's pretty common these days and I still have an old car with a stereo that doesn't support bluetooth, I had to replace my old aux-aux cable which I used to listen to music/podcasts on my phone while driving. So far this cable has worked great as a modern replacement and the quality has been good. No static or other problems with audio playback in the car. The only problem, and not the cable manufacturer's fault, is that depending on the case you're using on your phone (if you go that route), the USB-C end of the cable may not fit snugly as it is relatively wide/thick. I have a leather case (Galaxy S21 and Samsung leather case) and it takes some effort to connect the USB-C port to my phone. Not everyone will have this problem, but it's something to be aware of depending on your phone/case. All in all though, this seems like a good cable and a good buy.
