These guys are great! PROS: The size is just right for portioned lunches to work. Ideal for savory dishes such as: curry, risotto, stir fry, fried rice, grain bowl and chili. Also good for side dishes and soups. Too small for sandwiches unless they are cut lengthwise and the two halves overlap slightly, or you are using a smaller bread like baguette. neat cupboard for dishes. Run the dishwasher without deforming the upper basket. The microwave is good too. CONS: They're plastic, so probably not as useful as glass, but you won't be able to get the same price or stackability with glass. The compromise paid off. Do not trust the lid seal 100%. This is pretty good for this type of container, but not as secure as containers with silicone rings and locking tabs. I've never had a lid open and commute to work with my lunch in my backpack, but if like me you're a bit afraid of spills, I'd put the container in a plastic bag, just in case.
