CHANGE UPDATE. My charging cable is still working after 9 months of daily use in my backpack and car charger. I'm buying a second one because the indicator has stopped working (sometimes it will light up) but it hasn't affected the charging ability or charging speed and I'll upgrade if the cable breaks.
