I was looking for a finger/forearm enhancer that would help me climb and improve my overall grip strength. I considered other things like spring boosters but finally settled on a gyro trainer because I figured I couldn't get a board that easily. After getting it for the first time, it took me a while to figure out how to get it to work. My mistake was that I didn't pull the start line with enough force. Once I figure it out, it kicks off every time. Also don't try to spin it too fast when it first starts, start slow and work your way up. Using this at my top speed for 30 seconds will absolutely kill your forearms and give you a great burn. In addition, it hardly puts any strain on the wrists. On the other hand, my hands needed an adjustment period. I got a few blisters on the first use. It's really fun to use and sometimes you forget that you're strengthening your wrist at the same time. As a side note, I really like the counter at the top that shows your RPM etc. Also, I don't think you need to buy the autoplay model as the string method is probably just as fast.
