I bought these hoping they would improve the brightness a bit but not get too bright and was not disappointed. It's a small step up in brightness and a bit more on the orange side. But there were no problems. These bulbs fit perfectly and work exactly as expected. There were no hyperflares. After removing the lamp after about 10 seconds of operation, it was slightly warm. Compared to a traditional light bulb with the same heat after 2 seconds. The chrome look strikes me as odd. I honestly bought it with a chrome finish hoping it would bring the brightness down to an acceptable level and was not disappointed.
