Review on VisionTek DisplayPort HDMI Active Adapter by Stacy Duncan

I was very excited when I received the adapter and hooked it up from my 1070 to my LG 34UM61. The 2560 x 1080 resolution looked great and I was happy. My 1070 has one HDMI port and two DisplayPort ports. HDMI is used with my Oculus Rift and I only have one display port for my new monitor. It worked the first time and I was beaming that there was a solution. And today, almost a week after receiving it, it does not work - red dotted grid. Be weary as it works well for some and has worked for me for a while. Let's go back to the Draw (or Trade) board.
