Being home all the time has made me more sensitive to smells and general cleanliness. For me, I can clean my whole apartment, but if it smells like trash cans, vegetable oil, my neighbors' cigarette smoke, or grease from a nearby KFC, it doesn't feel clean as soon as you step inside. So I did a little research and read a few reviews of other products like this one. This was the best price for the lot at Revain. When I got it about a week ago I plugged it in, set it to the lowest setting and haven't touched it since. This is where my family goes all the time, between my kitchen where I keep the trays and the main living room. I stick my vertical fan right next to it, which seems to help spread the flavor. In general I like the smell. I bought a lavender scent and it honestly doesn't smell like a typical air freshener or lavender scented candle, but it's really nice and subtle. Sometimes I can smell it as soon as I walk in, sometimes I can't tell if it's working. This leads me to assume that the scent doesn't fade constantly, but fades every few hours. Anyway, I prefer not to use so much at once and let the scent last longer. If I was going to sniff at it all the time I'd get 2 of these - I might do that if I could find a spare outlet somewhere convenient. The only thing that bothers me is that the refills are only half filled with liquid. I think that's to be expected from most modern products. I'm just glad it doesn't seem to use as much when plugged in and the amount doesn't affect performance. Also highly recommended.
