This pot is great because I don't have to use two different containers to make iced tea. The possibility of pouring boiling water directly into the pot is very practical. Also the sight of it being double annealed makes it very comforting based on my experience as a glassblower. *Update* Initially I was very happy with the jug as you can read, but now after 6 weeks of use there is a Y-shaped crack in the jug of the jug. This happened in what you would consider normal usage for this type of glass. Wouldn't trust it to withstand boiling water.
