I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.
I replaced v2. The wheel is now top, scrolling is a pleasure. Glides even better. The hyper-shift button is in place and still needs some kind of finger gadget to reach it. If there was no basilisk before, then keep in mind that it has a strong bevel on the right side. The first time is strange and not even convenient. You get used to it quickly. Clicking on the wheel is dead. You can’t call quality after this (
