Easy to install as it can be configured with other software like IIS, Apache or Nginx.Easy to use when you want to cache files and images as they are really easy to configure (you don't need any PHP knowledge). Caching of static content is great. The fact that there's no specific configuration needed if someone else configures their server. This makes managing multiple servers easier/less error prone. Not much dislike at all but maybe some small things. But nothing big enough to comment about. If your website has lots of resources in terms of images, videos etc., then go ahead and give squid-cache a try. We had problems with our web application not being able to load certain pages because the requests were too heavy so we started using squid-cache to help us caching those resources making them available faster.
