Great product for high availability and redundancy

I love that it works well with subdomains without having to rewrite code or setup additional vhosts/servers as we need more sites served from our servers in order of importance (eg most traffic first). The fact you can configure your site's cache timeout separately gives me an advantage over other products where they are all set at some default value - which isn't always appropriate! We have multiple companies using this web service so if one goes down another takes its place when needed. This…

Pros
  • The fact I can configure the cache timeout separately and the fact that it works well with subdomains without having to rewrite code or setup additional vhosts/servers as we need more sites served from our servers in order of importance (eg most traffic first)
Cons
  • I have no downtime when switching out content

A fantastic way for improving page loading speed

Easy to install as it can be configured with other software like IIS, Apache or Nginx.Easy to use when you want to cache files and images as they are really easy to configure (you don't need any PHP knowledge). Caching of static content is great. The fact that there's no specific configuration needed if someone else configures their server. This makes managing multiple servers easier/less error prone. Not much dislike at all but maybe some small things. But nothing big enough to comment about.

Pros
  • It's free and open source
Cons
  • It can be a bit slow but then if you know the basics of Nginx and Apache it's not really
