Review on Pearl IZUMi Womens Cycling Phantom by Summer Lopez

I replaced a similar type of five year old slippers made by another company and tried a few before settling on this one. They sit somewhere between a hard shell and newer, athletic shoes. They provide structure both around my foot and on the sole without discomfort and allow me to get off the bike and do things on the ground. The dimensions are exactly what you would hope for; I wear size 8 1/5 street shoes and size 9 trainers and the EU size 40.5 (it says 9 on the box) is absolutely perfect. My toes reached the end of 40 and 41 giving me too much room to move my foot back and forth, which could happen on a bike while pedaling. I used them today and couldn't be happier. Also the red color is very bright and a little bit pink but cool!
