Although the stools appear to be stronger than we thought, another reviewer mentioned that a screw in each stool did not fit. We spent two hours putting the stools together, although it shouldn't have taken more than 20 minutes. We assumed it was a playful error and tried several times to align the screws, but to no avail. We ended up using screws from our old stools but they still don't work and the stools are very unstable. We can't decide whether to return the assembled stools or just buy different screws and hope we get it right. I wish there was a way to contact the seller. That is possible?
