Great Torque Wrench Made in the USA! This is the best torque wrench for truck nuts and wheel bearings! This torque wrench consists of 3 parts: 1 inch ratchet head, middle extension and torque wrench handle. Also, it comes with a retractable handle without a torque wrench, so you can use the ratchet head just as a regular ratchet wrench! FYI: You CANNOT break 33mm nuts with a ratchet! You must use a torque multiplier or a 1 inch air gun. Ring nuts seize on bolts due to dirt, rust and corrosion. It can take more than 1,000 ft-lbs to pull out. I have used this torque wrench to torque and tighten 33mm lug nuts to 500 ft lbs. You will need to purchase a separate 1" and 6" extension to tighten the drive axle nuts! I also have Meritor Unitized steer hubs that require 500-700 ft-lbs of torque. This torque wrench has a maximum measurable torque of 600 ft-lbs. With "Max" settings up to 600 ft lbs, both sides worked perfectly. After that I tightened all 4 drive axle (ConMet) bearing hubs to 300 ft-lbs. This torque wrench measures both clockwise (CW) and counterclockwise (CCW) torque simply by flipping the clearly marked retractable handle. It comes in a molded case that contains everything including the torque free extension handle. This is not a flimsy micrometer style wrench that can be dialed in 1 foot pound increments. This is a heavy duty 10 ft-lb click-click split shaft torque wrench used for heavy duty torque measurement. A calibration certificate is also included.
