This block is brilliant and all the operations described by the manufacturer are performed flawlessly and easily. For non-IT people who need to do disk backups and cloning, this is by far the easiest device I've had to use. It also works as an external hard drive enclosure for four drives. Works flawlessly and requires no configuration. I bought this product to take to work as we often need to duplicate drives and this docking station from GLOTRENDS does it well even when not connected to a computer. The great feature is that when the clone switch is positioned correctly, one disc can be copied to 3 different devices at the same time. Another plus is that the unit accommodates both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, and since the unit is open, all drives benefit from good heat dissipation and airflow around each drive ensures efficient operation and safe working. I also tried the device as a hub for several hard drives for work and was once again impressed with the result. Thanks to the USB 3 interface, data transfer is very fast and of course the device is backwards compatible to USB 2 if required. This allows me to create a massive storage hub to connect to multiple devices.
