I don't usually solder with gloves, but my family members started to worry when they noticed that I burn my left hand quite often. So I decided to buy a set and only cover the left hand. So I can keep the iron in check. Here are my advantages: - Very heat resistant, I don't feel anything! Even melted solder! Seeing gloves like these plus 3 of them for $10 is pretty nice. - Cozy. It's very soft when you put it on. Cons: - Smells like chemicals. - Restricts hand movements. - Heat resistant coating peels off with frequent use. Depending on your use case, I suggest trying these things out! However, I would avoid jobs that expose it to high temperatures frequently. I think that's what couples are for.
