Heat resistant for added safety

These gloves are more like gardening gloves. This reduces the heat, but honestly not enough to work with sublimation lenses coming out of the heat. It still lets in a lot of heat. Also, they got small holes in the fabric part almost immediately. I'll use them until I find a better fit, but once I do I only use them for gardening or whatever.

Great gloves - not the most comfortable.

I use these gloves with a heat press. I regularly iron things at 400 degrees and with these gloves I touch them right after the belly. They would be 5 stars except they aren't the most comfortable. The black material that makes them heat resistant feels like it's dripping into the gloves and poking through some of my fingers. I would still recommend these gloves to anyone looking for heat resistance!

Comfortable, of course, with its shortcomings.

I don't usually solder with gloves, but my family members started to worry when they noticed that I burn my left hand quite often. So I decided to buy a set and only cover the left hand. So I can keep the iron in check. Here are my advantages: - Very heat resistant, I don't feel anything! Even melted solder! Seeing gloves like these plus 3 of them for $10 is pretty nice. - Cozy.
