Review on 🔖 Silhouette Double-Sided Adhesive Starter Kit: The Ultimate Scrapbooking Essential - KIT-ADHESIVE by Kristen Simpson

I bought a double-sided adhesive greeting card starter kit. I wanted to cut out some small lettering and design details and cover them with flock powder. My first attempts at using double sided tape failed. I followed the directions and cut with the correct settings. But even with the right cut settings, the silhouette isn't always cut cleanly through three layers. This creates a mess when you try to separate the shapes, as the sticky layer will stretch and distort if it sticks to your fingers or any other tool you use to remove your shape from the larger piece. After my first failed attempt I have used this successfully on several maps and overall I like the product. I've learned to carve larger, simpler shapes and only block fonts that lack subtle detail. This glue is a bit difficult to peel off the backing but once you apply it properly it holds great and the glitter or flock powder has great opacity and holds. Overall, this is not a product I particularly like due to the high potential for frustration, but I do like the results I get when it works well.
