Review on 🍖 Rorence Roasting Gravy Set Separator: A Must-Have Tool for Perfectly Poured Gravy by Cris Drew

I bought this to separate the broth from the butter when cooking chicken in my Instapot. I first used it to separate oil from hamburger meat when I was searing it in my cast iron skillet. I bought 80% lean meat and there was a lot of broth to separate. Although I tried to keep as little meat as possible in the colander when filling the pan, very small chunks still remained. Apparently, it was enough to pound the ground, and even with the button fully depressed, not a single shaft made its way to separate. I was disappointed. I have a feeling it would be better with a thinner mains filter on top. Next time I use it I'll need cheesecloth in the strainer to keep it from clogging. I would give this a higher rating and can do so after using it a few times. Haven't used the turkey tincture yet but was very impressed with the quality. I would pay full price for that alone. Very important.
