As an elderly person, I found it difficult to use, maybe even a bit dangerous (for an elderly person). Try holding a large pot of hot water and pasta in one hand while trying to maneuver the colander to hold the pasta. so that it does not overflow and overflow the colander and it is difficult to fall into the sink. It seemed very difficult to drain the pasta as well as my old ones did in the sink. However, if you don't mind leaving a cup or more of water in the noodles to cook noodles, you can hold a heavy saucepan in one hand and a colander in the other. Maybe this is something for you. Damn, in my college days I used a well-washed old tennis racket :-)
