I have named these lights my Jesus Light because they are so bright, it looks like the heavens have opened and Jesus is coming to chat. We have replaced the yellow bulbs in the bathroom overhead lighting with 2 of these 75w equivalent bulbs in the daylight version. Holy prayer! You can see every smudge on the floor and the pores on your face. I may have aged at least 5 years! My elderly mother who lives with us also wanted to replace these lightbulbs on 4 vanity tables, 6 in total in 1 bathroom. Well, I did it for her, but in the end I couldn't leave her in the dressing table. Just turning on the makeup light killed my eyes. They literally had to adjust to the brightness. I have since used a 25w daylight bulb for 4 makeup lights and they are bright enough. Thinking my mom's eyesight is deteriorating, she turns on both the vanity lights and overhead lights and "can see GREAT!" She loves these lightbulbs and replaces almost everything in the house with them so she can see better. They definitely make cleaning easier (now the dirt doesn't run away) and are also easier to read. Before we switched to the daylight version I had a 'yellower' version (also LED, same brand) all over the house and these have lasted at least 2 years with long daily use and were going strong at the time of the switch so you're coming at these bulbs at your own expense.
