Review on ☕ Technivorm Cup One Coffee Brewer, 10 oz, Shiny Silver by Missy Cooper

This is a reliable 4 star coffee maker. It makes the tastiest cup of coffee I've ever had and is very well made. However, it has several design flaws that prevent it from being rated 5 stars. The lid is useless and is essentially just a prop. It's a small black plastic cover that just sits there and does nothing. In order to use the coffee maker, you must completely remove it and put it back on. somewhere. And when you're done, you can put it back on it or just leave it where you put it. Doesn't matter! it doesn't do anything - The filter bowl support is engaged. It doesn't seem bothersome until you realize that you have to move the water dispenser's little metal rod out of the way to get out and empty the filter bowl. It doesn't seem like a bother until you've made a few cups and that little metal stick is pretty darn hot. or you're making a cup and don't want the used flour to remain in it. It will still be hot and you will burn your fingers. No. 1 filters are used in the filter bowl. My grocery store doesn't have them so I have to buy filter #2 and trim them. The hole in the filter cup is small. And it hits hard. Because the cup is so small, you won't fit a whole cup of coffee with water in it. So it spills coffee all over your work surface and then it's a nightmare to remove and clean (see above complaints about fixed position and hot metal rod). Bottle for 2 treatments. Overall, I love this piece, even with its design flaws. It seriously makes the best cup of coffee out of any coffee maker I've ever used, and I'd happily lose my fingerprints over time just because of that hot metal spout.
